    Mac OS X Lion

Nope, does not work. Just tried but the InstallESD.dmg file is missing from this download.

    OS X Mountain Lion

Adding onto what DisconnectedAV stated, this is actually the InstallESD.dmg of the Mountain Lion installer. If you already have a Mountain Lion installer, you can just replace the InstallESD.dmg to have the latest version available in the installer. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH MACOS INSTALLERS ABOVE 10.9 (MAVERICKS) AS IT HAS A DIFFERENT WAY OF INSTALLING THE OS.

Does anybody know when Catalina will get a Multibeast? Or can I use Multibeast Mojave to install Catalina to an external drive?

Correction it does work, but you have to do the following things to get it working correctly. 1. Use disk utility to create two new partitions out of free space on your hard drive. One small like 15GB for the OSX DMG to be 'repaired' or 'restored" to and a larger partition to actually install the OSX on. 2. Once you've created those partitions, unzip the OSX of your choice and get back into disk utility. 3. Use disk utility to 'repair' or 'restore' the OSX DMG to the small partition. 4. Restart the Mac and hold 'option' key after the boot sound. 5. Use the installer partition to install onto the larger partition you just made. 6. Run the installer and get it setup. Depending on your hard drive type, could take 20 to 60 minutes. 7. Finish setup and start installing software, assuming the older OSX recognizes your newer hardware. 8. I just did this on my 2011 MacBook Pro so I could install an older version of Pro Tools and other softwares. It works great. Nice to have the use of this more powerful hardware with older software. Thanks.

I can not get this to work... I created the bootable drive, restarted from that drive. Then installed the El Cap system onto a clean newly formatted drive but now my Mac will not start up off the El Cap drive - Does anyone know a solution? - I've tried selecting the El Cap drive in my Startup Disc selection within system preferences. - I've also held down the option key during start up - When I do that it does not show the Hard Drive containing El Cap - ONLY the bootable drive with they System Installer

Hi Can't find the download link. With Mojave I didn't have that problem, I downloaded the installer directly. I don't know what happens with High Sierra, I follow the same steps and the result of the download is not the installer file. I follow the Tonymac86 guide: Clean installation on a compatible Intel PC.

As of 9/29/19 the installer is corrupt and will not work. I tried it twice on my 2007 Macbook pro to no avail. Is there a specific way to use the dmg file?

Hi! Did you find any solutions to your problem? Because currently I am having the same issue. My Macbook cannot find any start up disc. I can see some on Disk Utilities and tried to restore and verify them but still nothing. I have been trying lots and lots of suggestions. I have created start up discs on USB but none of them worked. Now I am worried. I have tried also Yosemite and Mountain Lion of this website but didn't work either. Some problems occur when I click on restore/download new/another version of Mac OS X and cannot complete the installation. One time, the Mac OS X installer stucked and I couldn't click or see any other options. Could you enlighten me please? Thank you.
